The Christmas festive season in the small town of Dartmouth, Devon begins each year with the much awaited Dartmouth Fatstock Show in the Old Market. A day where town and country meet and local farmers proudly present their noble cattle, patient sheep and dressed poultry for judging and prize-giving, ending with a grand finale auction. A rare, celebratory and timeless event that can also be a moving experience for what it reveals of man's relationship with nature.
